Mexican star Lindolfo Delgado could face Arthur Biyarslanov\u00a0on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli.<\/p>\n

Boxing superstar Alvarez will get his chance to regain one of his super-middleweight titles he lost against Terence Crawford<\/a> last September.<\/p>\n

He will take on new WBC 168lbs champion Mbilli in Riyadh<\/a>, Saudi Arabia after the date was rescheduled from September until October.<\/p>\n

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has promoted the event as a ‘Mexico vs the World’ card, with the best of El Pais Azteca’s boxing talent set to feature.<\/p>\n

And the first name to emerge that will feature on the bill is former Olympian Delgado.<\/p>\n

He could take on Russian-Canadian Biyarslanov, in a clash of the undefeated operators, according to ESPN Knockout<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The vacant IBF super-lightweight title is expected to be on the line, after Richardson Hitchins missed weight for his fight with Oscar Duarte, and subsequently vacated the title to move up to 147lbs.<\/p>\n

It is an exciting bout, and one in which Delgado will look to try and make smoother sailing after a sticky eliminator.<\/p>\n

He faced Gabriel Valenzuela and was fortunate to get a split decision victory, having survived after being dropped in the final round in November last year.<\/p>\n

Biyarslanov, ‘The Wolf’ is a rugged southpaw, and he will hope to spoil the Mexican party.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old, who also had a run at the 2016 Olympics, will be hoping to continue his momentum after a solid stoppage victory in April to set up the clash.<\/p>\n

Other leading names that have been rumoured to fight on the bill including Alvarez’s teammate and former rival Jaime Munguia.<\/p>\n

Alvarez has had a spell out of the ring after recovery from elbow surgery<\/a> and a disappointing defeat.<\/p>\n

But he isn’t in the mood to take a warm-up fight and will go straight back into the deep end against a feared puncher in Mbilli<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Solide’ is in no mood to bow down to the global superstar and has made threats to end his career.<\/p>\n

Although the Mexican insists he remains in a brilliant condition and is ready to show why he still is the division’s top dog.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cHe’s a champion and a dangerous fighter. <\/p>\n

“He throws a lot of punches, he’s strong, and I like that kind of fight. I love it that he’s going to come at me.<\/p>\n
