For all the Coronation Street fans broken hearted over the impending departure of actor Mollie Gallagher<\/a>, don\u2019t panic. You can see her taking to the stage soon, in a role that couldn\u2019t be more different to \u00a0to\u00a0Nina Lucas<\/a>.<\/p>\n One of the most intriguing, funny and original characters to ever walk the Cobbles, Nina the chirpy, goodnatured Victorian Goth rocked up back in 2019 as the long lost nice of\u00a0Roy Cropper<\/a>\u00a0(David Neilson<\/a>), who was stunned to discover he\u00a0had a long-lost brother named Richard<\/a>.<\/p>\n After Richard died, Nina\u00a0moved to Weatherfield to live with her uncle\u00a0<\/a>and soon became more integral to Roy\u2019s Rolls than a bacon barm. She\u2019s had her fair share of major stories too. <\/p>\n Inspired by the tragic real life murder of Sophie Lancaster<\/a>, Nina and her boyfriend Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), were viciously ambushed<\/a> and beaten by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans)<\/a> and his gang simply because of Nina\u2019s alternative goth appearance.<\/p>\n Sadly, Mollie Gallagher\u2019s decision to bow out of the Soap means the sun is setting on Nina\u2019s time on the Cobbles, which will come as devastating news for any fans holding out hope of her romantic reunion<\/a> with bezzie mate Asha Alahan<\/a>\u00a0(Tanisha Gorey<\/a>).<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\tAsk Metro<\/p>\n Use AI to go deeper into the stories you care about \u2013 powered by Metro and trusted publications.<\/p>\n However, it seems Mollie will be swapping the Cobbles of Weatherfield for a padded cell as she joins the cast of Silence of The Lambs.<\/p>\n Mollie will taking a starring role in a stage production of the classic horror film first released in 1991 as Clarice Starling, the brilliant but troubled FBI agent who must work with cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter to bring another murderer to justice. <\/p>\n The role of Lecter himself will be played by Johnny Partridge<\/a>, who played Christian Clarke on Eastenders, best known for his steamy yet tortured affair with Syed Masood (Marc Elliot)<\/a>. The actor reposted the teaser for the play on Instagram, posted originally by @sotlplay.<\/p>\n The role of Clarice\u2019s mentor Jack Crawford will be played by Oliver Farnworth<\/a>, who ironically played Emmerdale\u2019s own twisted serial killer John Sugden<\/a>. <\/p>\n Sam Jackson, bet known for his role in the Channel 4 coming of age drama skins, will play the dangerous murderer Clarice is determined to catch, Buffalo Bill.<\/p>\n Fans were quick to take to Instagram to show their support for Mollie\u2019s new role.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018Had my tickets booked for ages!
