We don\u2019t know for sure that it was an ACL issue, to be clear, but Joe Rogan on commentary speculated as much \u2013 and it was a reasonable suggestion.<\/p>\n

Such injuries can take six to 12 months to heal.<\/p>\n

That could mean that McGregor can\u2019t even train properly until next July, and not fight until next autumn.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen would you think they would put me back in? April 2027. It\u2019s almost a year later, that\u2019s ridiculous to me. I think, no?<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the way the contract was done, I don\u2019t know. You\u2019d have to ask Audie [Attar, manager] on all of that. I\u2019m like: \u2018Huh? Just give me the f***ing contract.\u2019 It gets to that stage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will McGregor be fit by then? Will he even fight again, ever?<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know the specifics of the injury yet, but it could be an ACL issue.<\/p>\n
