I don’t know,” he admitted.

“He’s like six foot six and was dipping his knees down as low as he possibly could. It was like below this table height where it happened. I don’t know. I don’t understand that at all.

“I need to get some clarification on it, I suppose. But what is it? After the game, clarification, it’s gone, mate. The two points, it’s gone, unfortunately.”

As for the prospect of an apology from the officiating department in the coming days, Carr was clear: “I don’t really care, mate. I don’t really care. Like, what does that do? What does that do? I just… Yeah, I don’t care.”

Castleford Tigers boss expresses immense pride despite defeat

Despite his clear frustrations at the officiating, Carr was eager to offer praise for his side for their performance, particularly in response to the hammering at Magic Weekend.

“Like I said, I’m super proud that that’s how these boys, that’s how we should represent the club,” he said.

“That’s what they deserve. That’s who we’re playing for.

“That’s got to be the same every week now. That’s the key for us, I suppose. That’s the learning from this year is we haven’t probably narrowed our consistency down with stuff like that.

“That’s what I’m really chasing is that type of consistency in performance.”

Castleford Tigers head coach Ryan Carr has refused to give his full opinion on some of the officiating…

[35
5903,101,56,54,55
post-688362","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-rugby","tag-rugby","tag-sports","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
