{"id":688734,"date":"2026-07-13T05:29:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T05:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/688734\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T05:29:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T05:29:17","slug":"line-of-duty-series-7-filming-wrapped-as-bbc-release-date-draws-closer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/688734\/","title":{"rendered":"Line of Duty series 7 filming wrapped as BBC release date draws closer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Filming has officially wrapped on the long-awaited seventh series of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/iplayer\/episodes\/p00yzlr0\/line-of-duty?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">BBC\u2019s Line of Duty,<\/a> which first aired in 2012 and last appeared on screens in 2021.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0566049\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Vicky McClure<\/a>, who plays DI Kate Fleming, confirmed the news in a joint Instagram post with co-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1161994\/?ref=ed_direct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Martin Compston<\/a> (DI Steve Arnott), alongside Adrian Dunbar (Superintendent Ted Hastings).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In the post, they wrote: &#8220;And we\u2019re Off Duty!!\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The last 4 months spent with two of my best mates @mrmartincompston #adriandunbar.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The brilliant cast &amp; crew pulled out all the stops to bring @jed_mercurio script to life\u2026thank you.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Home time now, so can\u2019t wait, missed my lot every single day.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Fans flooded the comments with excitement, with one writing: &#8220;Well done.
