{"id":689363,"date":"2026-07-13T14:10:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T14:10:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/689363\/"},"modified":"2026-07-13T14:10:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T14:10:10","slug":"arrest-after-man-killed-as-car-mounts-kerb-in-bradford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/689363\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest after man killed as car mounts kerb in Bradford"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A driver was arrested after a 50-year-old man in a wheelchair was killed in a crash at the weekend, police have said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A blue Nissan Qashqai mounted the kerb on Market Street in Bradford just after 15:20 BST on Sunday, hitting the victim in the pedestrianised area, as well as a 31-year-old man who suffered serious head injuries, West Yorkshire Police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">A 13-year-old boy suffered minor injuries, the force added.
