It could mark another major milestone for Cruz Lee-Ojo, Danny Bretherton, Hendrik Christoffersen, John Fadare, Josh Olliver, Nicolas Alves and Se\u00e1n Hayden, who were brought together on Netflix series Simon Cowell: The Next Act and have barely stopped for breath since.<\/p>\n

Released last Friday, On Your Side introduces December 10’s glossy, globe-trotting pop sound across six tracks, including singles Run My Way<\/a>, Angel<\/a> and Infinity (123)<\/a>, plus brand-new cuts On Your Side, Us Against The World and What Are We Now.<\/p>\n

And the celebrations are already in full swing, with the lads racing around the country on a whistle-stop UK in-store tour, meeting fans and posing for pics everywhere from Bristol to Belfast.<\/p>\n

Amid the chart battle and cross-country chaos, December 10 sit down exclusively with Official Charts to react to their midweek position and reflect on the whirlwind of becoming some of pop’s hottest new properties.<\/p>\n

Lads, congratulations on the success of On Your Side so far – how are you feeling?<\/p>\n

“Honestly, we’re beyond buzzing that we already have a body of work together and out. We really are living our dreams!”<\/p>\n

And you’re in a chart battle with The Rolling Stones, no biggie…<\/p>\n

“It’s a huge deal to be mentioned in the same sentence as music royalty like The Rollings Stones. Wild!”<\/p>\n

All this comes less than seven months after you were formed. What’s been the highlight of your journey so far?<\/p>\n

The highlight for all of us was to perform at Wembley Stadium. We were all so nervous in the week of rehearsals before the show, panicking about our in-ears not working and things, but it was actually perfect. We all had the best days of our lives!<\/p>\n

What’s the reaction from fans been like on the in-store tour?<\/p>\n

“Our fans just never cease to amaze us. We just got given a December 10 cake to congratulate us on the EP. So many fans now have tattoos of our lyrics, too!<\/p>\n

“They buy us incredible gifts, from LEGO for Nicolas to caps for Josh, and we will never run out of ketchup as Hendrik gets given it daily. We’re not complaining, we love ketchup!”<\/p>\n

What are each of your favourite songs from the EP right now and why?<\/p>\n

Se\u00e1n and Hendrik:\u00a0“Today\u2019s favourite is Us Against The World, as we both love our guitar parts in that – Se\u00e1n on electric and Hendrik on acoustic – and everyone was singing along before it was even out. When we were on the Europe tour, they were chanting ‘it\u2019s us against the world!'”<\/p>\n

Josh and Nicolas:\u00a0“On Your Side, actually for the exact same reason. We are in the middle of a tour, so that’s what we’re loving – the fans’ reaction to it and performing live.”<\/p>\n

John and Cruz:\u00a0“We adore What Are We Now – we recorded it with Poo Bear and we adore working with him. It’s also our favourite dance break in the show.”<\/p>\n

Finally boys, do you have a message for the fans showing their support for On Your Side this week?<\/p>\n

“We just love our Tenners! We know we would be nothing without their support and commitment – they are simply the best and help us fulfill our dreams on a daily basis!”<\/p>\n
