James Dean Fury becomes the latest member of the Fury clan to turn over as a professional boxer.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old amateur standout has signed a long-term promotional agreement with Ben Shalom’s BOXXER, and will make his debut on August 8.<\/a><\/p>\n

Fury kicks off his career in a super middleweight bout on the undercard of Troy Williamson vs Callum Simpson II at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds.<\/p>\n

“I’m very grateful for this opportunity,” said Fury.<\/p>\n

“I’d like to thank my uncle Peter, BOXXER, Ben Shalom and Mick Hennessy for making this possible. <\/p>\n

“My goal is to go all the way. I want to win world titles and become the best fighter I can be. <\/p>\n

Fury enjoyed a fruitful stint in the unpaid ranks, culminating in three national titles and a Manchester Box Cup.<\/p>\n

He will be trained by his uncle Peter Fury<\/a> and managed by Mick Hennessy.<\/p>\n
