Kone is expected to leave Roma<\/a> this summer with the Serie A<\/a> club in need of funds to bolster the squad ahead of their return to the Champions League.<\/p>\n United are interested in bringing a third midfielder to Old Trafford alongside recent recruits Andrey Santos<\/a> and Youri Tielemans<\/a>.<\/p>\n Red Devils boss Michael Carrick<\/a> is understood to be on the lookout for ball-carrying midfielders, a key feature of Kone\u2019s game.<\/p>\n United are likely to have a fight on their hands to land Kone\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n Read more on Man United<\/p>\n Roma have been contacted by multiple clubs regarding their prize asset with a conclusion expected now that Kone and France\u2019s World Cup dream is over<\/a>.<\/p>\n Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini recently hinted that Kone could leave the club for financial reasons.<\/p>\n The door is open<\/p>\n \u201cUnlike [Donyell] Malen, he was sidelined for a while due to injury and arrived at the World Cup in better shape.
