Matt Peet has confirmed that star full-back Jai Field and youngster George Marsden will return for Wigan Warriors this week.<\/p>\n

Wigan travel to West Yorkshire, where bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield Giants await them on Friday night. The Giants pulled off a shock win over the Warriors earlier this season, something Peet referenced in his pre-match comments.<\/p>\n

However, the big news to come from the boss was his confirmation that both Field and Marsden will shape up for the club after recovering from injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe get George Marsden and Jai Field back, which will allow us to get different people back in their positions,\u201d Peet said to the club website. \u201cIt\u2019s still early in the week, but we shouldn\u2019t be too much different, other than that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Field was one of many absentees from last week\u2019s win over Warrington, and it forced Josh Cartwright to play full-back \u2013 something he did exceptionally.<\/p>\n

Marsden, meanwhile, suffered a knock in Wigan\u2019s reserves win over Leeds the weekend before Magic, and hasn\u2019t been seen since.<\/p>\n

Addressing the challenge that lies ahead in Huddersfield, Peet said: \u201cThey\u2019ve always competed against us. They\u2019ve had some misfortune through the season, but since Jim [Lenihan\u2019s] come in, he\u2019s been looking to put his own stamp on the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve seen a clear focus on getting the fundamentals of the game right and being a hard-working, durable and tough team. More often than not, since he\u2019s been in, they\u2019ve moved in the right direction.<\/p>\n

\u201cJim will be encouraged by what he\u2019s seen since coming in, and we know we\u2019ll have to play very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reflecting on how they earn revenge from that shock defeat, Peet added: \u201cThe process would have remained the same, it would have been looking at what went wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t get the start right and we had to sustain a lot of pressure which we never came out the other side. Huddersfield were excellent as well, and they put us to the sword<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got a few things wrong, but they punished us, they were very clinical, and we\u2019ve got to expect the same again.\u201d<\/p>\n
