\n Results of the NHS GP Patient Survey 2026 show how patients rated their practices across a range of topics, including overall experience, how easy it is to contact the practice, and the helpfulness of reception and administration teams.\n<\/p>\n
\n In this case, the figures show the proportion of patients who described their overall experience of their GP practice as \u201cgood\u201d or better.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n Gainford Surgery, in Gainford near Darlington, received the highest rating among the North East practices listed, with 100 per cent of patients saying their overall experience was good.\n<\/p>\n
\n Of those who responded, 96 per cent described their experience as \u201cvery good\u201d, while four per cent said it was \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Rockliffe Court Surgery, part of Darlington PCN, followed with 99 per cent of patients rating their overall experience positively.\n<\/p>\n
\n At the practice, 91 per cent of patients said their experience was \u201cvery good\u201d, while eight per cent said it was \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Greystoke Surgery in Morpeth rated third, with 98 per cent of patients describing their overall experience as good.\n<\/p>\n
\n Sunniside Surgery, in Sunniside, Gateshead, recorded a 97 per cent good rating, made up of 88 per cent \u201cvery good\u201d responses and nine per cent \u201cfairly good\u201d responses.\n<\/p>\n

\n Several practices recorded overall good ratings of 96 per cent.\n<\/p>\n
\n Southlands Medical Group, in Sunderland, saw 76 per cent of patients describe their experience as \u201cvery good\u201d, while 21 per cent said it was \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Wooler Health, in Wooler, Northumberland, also recorded a 96 per cent good rating, with 83 per cent of patients saying their experience was \u201cvery good\u201d and 13 per cent saying it was \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Silverdale Family Practice, South Heton, had 80 per cent of patients describe their experience as \u201cvery good\u201d, while 16 per cent said it was \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Orchard Court Surgery in Darlington also recorded 96 per cent, with 73 per cent of patients rating their experience as \u201cvery good\u201d and 23 per cent as \u201cfairly good\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n Melrose Surgery in Billingham, had one of the strongest \u201cvery good\u201d scores in the top 10, with 90 per cent of patients choosing that option.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Horden Group Practice completed the top 10, with 96 per cent of patients rating their overall experience as good.\n<\/p>\n
