TORONTO, August 15, 2025 \u2013 The 166th\u00a0King\u2019s Plate is set for this Saturday at Woodbine Racetrack and racing fans will be able to take in all the action through a wide-variety of platforms.<\/p>\n

WATCH<\/p>\n

Sportsnet One\u00a0and\u00a0Citytv\u00a0will provide live coverage of The King\u2019s Plate from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The broadcast will also include the Grade 1 E.P. Taylor Stakes, which serves as a Breeders\u2019 Cup \u201cWin and You\u2019re In\u201d race.<\/p>\n

The two-hour King\u2019s Plate network broadcast will cover all the angles and stories leading up to Canada\u2019s most prestigious race. \u200b<\/p>\n

Host\u00a0Caroline Cameron\u00a0and racing analyst\u00a0Mark McKelvie\u00a0will lead the coverage, along with insights and analysis from host\u00a0Anna Dua\u00a0and longtime NHLer and notable racing analyst\u00a0Eddie Olczyk. Reporter\u00a0Brodie Lawson\u00a0will speak with participants and special guests from the walking ring to the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0Alanna Nolan\u00a0will be on horseback to provide trackside views and post-race interviews. Betting analyst\u00a0Rob Conway\u00a0will provide wagering analysis.\u00a0Lauren Howe\u00a0will be reporting from the various parties at Woodbine, while\u00a0Katrina Squazzin\u00a0will be live from downtown Toronto at the Sankofa Square watch party.<\/p>\n

Woodbine\u2019s simulcast will have its full race-day coverage, available on\u00a0Woodbine\u2019s website<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0YouTube channel<\/a>. Hosts\u00a0Jeff Bratt\u00a0and\u00a0Elissa Blowe\u00a0will take horseplayers through the day, including an expanded pre-game show at 11:45 a.m.<\/p>\n

Track announcer\u00a0Robert Geller\u00a0will call his 11th\u00a0consecutive Plate.<\/p>\n

The team at America\u2019s Best Racing will have a special King\u2019s Plate stream on Saturday afternoon, featuring special guests and racing analysis. The\u00a0stream<\/a>\u00a0will begin at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

DRF Espanol<\/a>\u00a0also returns to provide Spanish commentary of The King\u2019s Plate.<\/p>\n

WAGER<\/p>\n
