\n\tSam Fender <\/a>and Olivia Dean<\/a>\u2019s \u201cRein Me In\u201d<\/a> is up to second on the U.K. Official Singles Chart\u2019s<\/a> all-time rankings as it notches a 17th week at No. 1 on the tally dated July 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tWith its latest achievement, \u201cRein Me In\u201d breaks a tie with Bryan Adams<\/a>\u2019 \u201c(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,\u201d which earned 16 weeks at No. 1 in 1991. Fender and Dean\u2019s song now trails just one song in the all-time rankings: Frankie Laine\u2019s \u201cI Believe,\u201d which scored 18 non-consecutive weeks in 1953.<\/p>\n

\n\tEarlier in July, the song surpassed<\/a> Wet Wet Wet\u2019s \u201cLove Is All Around\u201d (1995) as the longest-running No. 1 by a British act. \u201cRein Me In\u201d is also the longest-running No. 1 of the 2020s and the 21st century as a whole.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song narrowly beats Oasis\u2019 \u201cWonderwall,\u201d which enjoyed an uptick in streams<\/a> following its adoption as an unofficial anthem <\/a>for England\u2019s World Cup run, which came to an end on Wednesday (July 15) following a 2-1 defeat to Argentina. \u201cWonderwall\u201d finishes the week at No. 2, matching its previous best set in 1995, with the Official Charts Company confirming it as the biggest British single to have never reached No. 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother football anthem storms into the top five with Baddiel, Skinner & The Lightning Seeds\u2019 1996 classic \u201cThree Lions\u201d closing at No. 3, up 18 spots over the previous week. Shakira and Burna Boy\u2019s \u201cDai Dai,\u201d the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reaches a new high at No. 5.<\/p>\n

\n\tANOTR and 54 Ultra\u2019s collaborative dance hit \u201cTalk to You\u201d jumps 10 places on the previous week to finish at No. 4. Prospa and Cloonee\u2019s \u201cFree Your Mind\u201d hits a new peak at No. 7.<\/p>\n

\n\tSienna Spiro\u2019s \u201cMaterial Lover\u201d rises one place to No. 14, and \u201cGreat Expectation\u201d is up 10 spots to No. 22. The singer\u2019s Visitor LP placed at No. 9 on the Billboard 200<\/a>, making her the first British female act to arrive in the top 10 with a debut since Ella Mai in 2018.<\/p>\n
