At the other end of the leaderboard, Lucas Herbert carded a record-equaling 62<\/a> to move to 8-under-par and lead by two over the trio of Jackson Suber, Cam Young and Ryan Gerard. It would have been a one-shot lead, but Bryson DeChambeau, who had initially carded a second-round 66, was issued with a two-shot penalty for accidentally improving his lie.<\/p>\n But you\u2019re all here to find out who\u2019s be going home early. Apparently nursing a sore neck, the spirited Friday fightback wasn\u2019t nearly enough.<\/p>\n Wyndham Clark +3 (73-70)<\/p>\n The US Open champ finished with two birdies and an eagle in his last four holes, but it wasn\u2019t nearly enough.<\/p>\n Cam Smith +3 (73-69)<\/p>\n Needed to shoot under par after a poor opening round \u2013 and he did. He still missed the cut by one, though.<\/p>\n Tom Kim +3 (70-73)<\/p>\n Will head home from a couple of weeks in the UK with the Scottish Open trophy<\/a>, and we\u2019re sure that\u2019s enough for the South Korean.<\/p>\n Harris English +3 (73)<\/p>\n For the second straight year, English\u2019s caddie Eric Larson was not allowed into the country<\/a> due to misdemeanors in his past.
