The former two-division light welterweight world champion Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs) picked up his first win in two years since 2023, and he was motivated by it.<\/p>\n<p>Chasing Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia<\/p>\n<p>Regis, 36, has high hopes of transmuting the victory over \u2018JoJo\u2019 Diaz into a big-money fight opportunity on one of Turki Alalshikh\u2019s Riyadh Season cards. Prograis rattled off these names for who would like to fight next:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Devin Haney<br \/>\u2013 Ryan Garcia<br \/>\u2013 Oscar Duarte<br \/>\u2013 Jose Ramirez<\/p>\n<p>For Turki to want to use Prograis on his Riyadh Season events, he would likely expect a big name. A fight between them would be interesting for fans if Kingry were willing to engage. He looked gunshy on the May 2nd Times Square card in his loss to Rolando \u2018Rolly\u2019 Romero.<\/p>\n<p>Prograis\u2019s Punch Resistance Problem<\/p>\n<p>Prograis\u2019s punch resistance appears to be gone now. He was hurt multiple times by the non-puncher JoJo Diaz, and he\u2019d been dropped in his three previous fights by Jack Catterall, Devin Haney, and Danielito Zorrilla. Fighting a motivated Ryan Garcia would be risky for Regis if Kingry were willing to let his hands go.<\/p>\n<p>The performance by Prograis wasn\u2019t good enough for him to deserve a world title shot at 140. Even if he got the chance to fight for a belt, it wouldn\u2019t end well for him fighting the champions Gary Antuanne Russell, Subriel Matias, Teofimo Lopez, or Richardson Hitchins.
