An \u201curban explorer\u201d YouTuber named Mr Airborne, who has more than 34,000 subscribers on the site, this week uploaded a video in which he could be seen scaling a fence and accessing the set, which is located at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire<\/a>.<\/p>\n The YouTuber then proceeded to walk around the show\u2019s Albert Square set, entering the Queen Vic pub and the newsagent known as The Minute Mart. He also could be seen briefly wearing one of the show\u2019s costumes after walking into the Square\u2019s fish and chip shop.<\/p>\n By the end of the video, Mr Airborne is spotted by security and chased away, leading him to re-climb the fence and flee.<\/p>\n Shockingly, Mr Airborne also revealed that this was not the first time he had trespassed onto the EastEnders set, claiming that he previously did so four years ago. He added that he didn\u2019t \u201cget anything good\u201d while broadcasting the incident live, \u201cso this time I\u2019m going to pre-record it\u201d.<\/p>\n In a disclaimer, the YouTuber said that he made the video for \u201centertainment and documentary purposes\u201d and urged viewers to \u201crespect private property and never trespass or attempt to recreate what you see in this video\u201d.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the BBC told The Independent that \u201cwe never comment on security matters\u201d.<\/p>\n It is unclear how often the Albert Square set has been invaded by trespassers, but there have been at least two previous reports this decade on break-ins by individuals who filmed their exploits and published the footage online.<\/p>\n In 2021, a YouTube prank duo broke onto the set and climbed on top of the Queen Vic before being found and pursued by security guards.<\/p>\n A year earlier, during lockdown, a trio of streamers also broke onto the set and later uploaded their footage to YouTube under the title: \u201cSneaking Into the EastEnders Film Set! We Got Caught And Escaped.\u201d<\/p>\n One of the trio also filmed themselves inside the Queen Vic, where he emulated the late Peggy Mitchell by shouting \u201cget outta my pub!\u201d to the camera. Security guards managed to find them and chase them away.<\/p>\n Going back even further, police were called to the set in 2009 after security guards found a hole in a fence at Elstree Studios, leading to suspicion that a break-in had occurred.<\/p>\n![\"BBC](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/albert-squarew.jpeg\")
