Man Utd<\/a> are now confident they can land Sander Berge from Fulham in a deal worth \u00a340m this summer, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils are looking to sign one more midfielder after completing deals to sign Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielamans from Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Man Utd<\/a> are also looking to sign a left-winger and a full-back but completing their third midfield signing seems to be taking priority.<\/p>\n

Atalanta star Ederson had been lined up to be their other midfield signing but a deal for the Brazil international fell through at the medical stage.<\/p>\n

Explaining the situation around midfield signings at Man Utd earlier this week, Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel<\/a>: \u201cI told you in the last video that Man Utd are not done. Man Utd \u2018confident\u2019 of sealing a move for \u00a340m<\/p>\n

And now the Evening Standard has revealed that<\/a> Man Utd are \u2018considering a swoop\u2019 to sign Norway international Berge, who started in the World Cup quarter-final against England.<\/p>\n

The newspaper continues by claiming that the Red Devils are \u2018confident of landing the player for as little as \u00a340m\u2019 from fellow Premier League side Fulham.<\/p>\n

Another midfielder Man Utd are considering is Eintracht Frankfurt\u2019s Hugo Larsson with German website Absolut Fussball insisting that<\/a> the Red Devils and Newcastle have \u2018expressed interest\u2019 in the Swede.<\/p>\n

INEOS are \u2018considering the potential signing\u2019 with Larsson \u2018open to staying\u2019 for the time being, however Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt are \u2018willing to discuss a potential transfer should a suitable offer come in\u2019.<\/p>\n

The report adds: \u2018Internally, the asking price at the start of the season was \u20ac60 million. Such a sum is now considered rather unrealistic. Nevertheless, Eintracht Frankfurt wouldn\u2019t let their midfielder go for less than he\u2019s worth. Reportedly, at least \u20ac40 million would be required to even enter into serious negotiations.\u2019<\/p>\n
