Doritos has issued an urgent recall of one of its most popular flavours.<\/p>\n
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said the product could pose a \u2018possible health<\/a> risk\u2019 to customers.<\/p>\n PepsiCo is recalling its Dorito Chilli Heatwave packs after some were stuffed with Tangy Cheese flavoured crisps.<\/p>\n It poses a possible health risk because the Tangy Cheese snacks contain milk, but the Chilli Heatwave ones do not, and it is not included on the list of ingredients.<\/p>\n The company is instructing customers to return their bags in exchange for a full refund.<\/p>\n The FSA said the 140g packs with the batch code\u00a0GBC 209 184C and the best before day of December 5, 2026, possibly contain the wrong ingredient.<\/p>\n According to Allergy UK, most allergic reactions to milk are mild but they can also be moderate or severe.<\/p>\n \t\t Mild to moderate symptoms include itchy mouth, tongue and throat, swollen lips, a red raised itchy rash, vomiting, nausea and a runny nose and sneezing.<\/p>\n Severe symptoms of anaphylaxis include swelling of the tongue and or throats, difficulty swallowing or a change in voice, difficult or noisy breathing, and dizziness. <\/p>\n In a statement, the FSA said: \u2018This product contains milk, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018PepsiCo\u00a0is recalling the product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.<\/p>\n \u2018The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
