Now HJC has got into the novel time trial helmet game with a design inspired by Marvel Comics&#8217; Iron Man for TotalEnergies riders in the 26.1km stage 16 time trial today.<\/p>\n<p>Time trial helmets are fertile ground for the creatives. While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/advice\/buyers-guides\/best-road-bike-helmets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">road helmets<\/a> are encumbered by boring stuff such as vents to stop the rider\u2019s head from boiling, that\u2019s not a problem with many TT helmets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Plus they\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/features\/tech\/new-time-trial-helmets-2025-tour-de-france\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BIG<\/a>, so there\u2019s lots of real estate to work on.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1545\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/HJC-Marvel-Iron-Man-Total-Enegies-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-984924\"\/>The Adwatt 1.0 has plenty of room for novel graphics. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/brand\/hjc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HJC<\/a> has got to work on its Adwatt 1.0 helmet, a design it launched in 2019. But it claims it\u2019s fast enough that another, unnamed, unsponsored team has also chosen it, minus the Iron Man graphics and is buying its TT helmets with its own cash.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1636\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/HJC-Marvel-Iron-Man-Total-Enegies-3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-984923\"\/>TotalEnergies riders should stand out in their Adwatt TT helmets. <\/p>\n<p>Why Iron Man? HJC\u2019s main business is motorcycle helmets and it\u2019s been working with Marvel on these for years.
