Shakur Stevenson has suggested showdowns with Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis have been promised to him by Zuffa Boxing.<\/p>\n

Stevenson made a significant move in his career as he elected to sign a lucrative contract with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stevenson wants the biggest names in the sport, particularly Davis and HaneyCredit: Getty<\/p>\n

The deal, bankrolled by Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, is likely to see him feature on blockbuster bills such as his last victory over Teofimo Lopez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Right now, talks are on the table with fellow American superstar Devin Haney over a potential catchweight contest.<\/p>\n

The pair have verbally agreed to a clash<\/a>, with the pound-for-pound star signing his end of a deal for a fight in October.<\/p>\n

And the Newark technician insists a fight with Davis was also promised, as part of some big nights ahead with the start-up promotion.<\/p>\n

He explained: “Dana [White] and Nick [Khan], they kept saying, \u2018We want to get you in with the best fighters. <\/p>\n

“We wanted you to fight the best.\u2019 The guys that they mentioned was Devin and Tank. <\/p>\n

“And when I heard that, I\u2019m like, why would I go away from what I\u2019ve been wanting to do my whole career? <\/p>\n

“I think my whole career I\u2019ve been saying the titles and all that, I done it. With all due respect to the titles, I want to fight the best. <\/p>\n

“I want to get in there and prove myself and get under them bright lights and see who\u2019s the best. I\u2019m not scared of taking no risk.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stevenson is already a four-weight world champion and has received all of the traditional accolades.<\/p>\n

Stevenson has suggested he has also been promised Davis despite his current absence from the ringCredit: Esther Lin\/PBC<\/p>\n

But for the gifted southpaw, he believes now is the time to cash in and earn lucrative purses against some of the sport’s biggest superstars.<\/p>\n

Stevenson fights with Haney and Davis – will they happen?<\/p>\n

Haney is also a big name but has yet to sign with Zuffa Boxing himself despite intensifying links.<\/p>\n

The pair have gone back and forth on social media over a catchweight, with Haney currently plying his trade as a world champion at 147lbs.<\/p>\n

But it still appears for now that ‘The Dream’ is the front runner to face Stevenson next.<\/p>\n

As for Davis, he is in a turbulent patch having faced legal issues outside of the ring.<\/p>\n

‘Tank’ was recently made a WBA champion in recess, losing his title status<\/a> after failing to agree a deal to face Floyd Schofield.<\/p>\n

It has been suggested that he may now not return until 2027.<\/p>\n
