Biaggio Ali Walsh insists he will be back after defeat by a rare choke hold at PFL Austin.<\/p>\n

Ali Walsh, the grandson of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali<\/a>, was in action against friend Gamid Khizriev as he looked to add a third consecutive victory to his record.<\/p>\n

The pair clashed at PFL Austin, which was broadcast live on the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube channel<\/a>, in what was Ali Walsh’s toughest test yet.<\/p>\n

And so it proved for the American who found himself on the back foot from the very first claxon.<\/p>\n

Ali Walsh was quickly taken down with Khizriev taking his back immediately and looking for an early night.<\/p>\n

As he attempted to break the hold, he rolled into a rare version of the twister choke, coined and regularly used by MMA icon Stevie Ray.<\/p>\n

It was an uncomfortable watch for Ali Walsh qho quickly tapped out after over two minutes of the first period.<\/p>\n

He was left injured and in a bad physical condition, needing several team members and medics to assist him back to his feet.<\/p>\n

Eventually after receiving aid, he was able to trudge gingerly out of the cage, but will now need to return back to the drawing board.<\/p>\n

It was a big blow, which saw him suffer a second defeat of his professional MMA career.<\/p>\n

Ali Walsh has suggested he is devastated by the outcome, but has vowed to bounce back stronger.<\/p>\n

He wrote on Instagram: “Heartbroken.<\/p>\n

“But God is The Greatest and I\u2019m always thankful regardless of the outcome! <\/p>\n

“I felt so comfortable and great in there. I\u2019m sorry if I let you guys down. <\/p>\n

“Congrats to my brother\u00a0Gamid Khizriev, thank you for the experience, you have a promising future! <\/p>\n

“On to the next and time to get better!<\/p>\n

Ali Walsh had insisted before his career that he didn’t want to follow in the footsteps<\/a> of his legendary grandfather Ali, who is widely viewed as the greatest boxer of all-time.<\/p>\n
