Canelo Alvarez<\/a> has never been stopped as a professional but legendary promoter Bob Arum thinks he knows who could change that.<\/p>\n

Canelo is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of the modern era<\/a>, and has been involved in a number of massive fights over the last two decades.<\/p>\n

The Mexican superstar is a four-weight world champion having reigned from light middleweight to light heavyweight, and he is a two-time undisputed super middleweight champion too.<\/p>\n

He lost that crown in September 2025 when he was defeated by Terence Crawford<\/a>, in what was the third loss of his tenure, having also come up short against Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol earlier in his career.<\/p>\n

None of them were able to stop Canelo though, and the 36-year-old has never been knocked down across his 68 professional fights either, despite sharing the ring with some huge punchers over the years.<\/p>\n

Top Rank founder Arum believes that streak is about to end, after he told FightHype<\/a> that he thinks Canelo will be stopped when he goes up against WBC super-middleweight champion Christian Mbilli in October.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look for Mbilli not only to beat Canelo, but to knock him out. He has the punching power to stop him.\u201d<\/p>\n
