Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 will be here before you know it, and Konami has now provided extra information about the package, going over frame rate and resolution for all platforms \u2013 including Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.<\/p>\n

First, for frame rate, you\u2019ll get a maximum of 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2. For Switch 1, the action taps out at a maximum of 30 FPS.<\/p>\n

Konami has these notices about frame rate:<\/p>\n

Highest possible variable frame rate achievable. Certain factors such as large amounts of effects during gameplay\/cutscenes may cause frame rate drops.Frame rate may drop during certain video playback scenes.<\/p>\n

Looking at max output resolution, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is 1080p in handheld mode and 1440p when docked on Nintendo Switch 2 with Switch 1 looking at 720p in handheld mode and 1080p when docked. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker limits the resolution to 1080p on Nintendo Switch 2 and 720p on Switch 1. Finally, the bonus content is 1080p on Nintendo Switch 2 and 720p on Switch.<\/p>\n

Note that players will be able to choose between \u201cAdjusted\u201d and \u201cOriginal\u201d image modes on Nintendo Switch 2 in Metal Gear Solid 4 when docked. Handheld mode only has \u201cOriginal\u201d. Nintendo Switch does not have any of these options.<\/p>\n

For Metal Gear\u00a0 Solid: Peace Walker, Nintendo Switch 2 players will have \u201cOriginal\u201d and \u201cHigh Resolution\u201d options available. These are not planned for Nintendo Switch.\u00a0<\/p>\n
