A former England U21 international, Woodman made four appearances for Liverpool last season.<\/p>\n
After debuting in a Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace, he memorably made his Premier League bow for the Reds by coming off the bench in the dramatic 2-1 Merseyside derby win over Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium in April.<\/p>\n
With Alisson Becker and Giorgi Mamardashvili out injured, Woodman started Liverpool\u2019s next two top-flight games and was voted Carlsberg Player of the Match for his performance in the victory versus Palace at Anfield.<\/p>\n
He will now continue to be part of the Reds\u2019 senior goalkeeping group under new head coach Andoni Iraola.<\/p>\n
