On Wednesday, everyone watched key climbing domestique Adam Yates almost come to a stop and he later admitted to vomiting on the bike as he crawled over the line 26 minutes down.<\/p>\n

The Brit had been suffering from what the team called gastroenteritis for days at this point, and had teammate Tim Wellens for company at the finish line in Voiron.<\/p>\n

“Adam is not so healthy and I don\u2019t feel so well myself either,” Wellens told Sporza. “I have a sore throat, mucus, and I\u2019m not feeling great. But more than half of our team is still in top form.” That assessment might be optimistic.<\/p>\n
