It is a domestic dust-up.<\/p>\n “I’d like it if that’s possible and he’s still at middleweight. It’s a great fight.<\/p>\n “It’d make a lot of noise in the UK, he’s someone that’s always spoken about wanting to become a world champion.<\/p>\n “This would be his chance to compete for one if that is one of his goals.<\/p>\n “I have some free space to do a voluntary defence and if it was Eubank, I’d be happy.”<\/p>\n Eubank Jr has yet to commit to any target return date, but it likely won’t be until the final quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n It is also unclear if he’d be able to fight at 160lbs, given his struggles boiling down to the weight for his clash with Benn.<\/p>\n More likely, Eubank Jr will choose to return at 168lbs where Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez<\/a> competes.<\/p>\n When will Eubank Jr be back?<\/p>\n Although it is currently unclear, one of the big alternative options could be a fight in Nigeria in December.<\/p>\n It is being eyed by organisers alongside Anthony Joshua and Moses Itauma<\/a> to headline events in the region.<\/p>\n Promoter Ezekiel Adamu has suggested Eubank Jr is on board and has travelled to Africa for talks.<\/p>\n He said: “Chris came here for business to explore what we can do here.
