After securing third place at the 2026 Tour Divide, Angus Young\u2019s latest video shares a detailed breakdown of the bike and kit that carried him to the finish. Riding a well-used Mason Macro aluminum hardtail with more than 30,000 kilometers on the odometer, it\u2019s clear that familiarity with his equipment was more important than having the lightest or fastest setup. He discusses everything from his electronic SRAM Transmission drivetrain and Hunt Proven Dynamo wheels to his custom Restrap frame bag, sleeping kit, and hydration strategy, reflecting on what worked, what didn\u2019t, and what he\u2019d change for another attempt. Despite praising the convenience of a dynamo hub for lighting and charging, one of the more interesting takeaways is that he says he\u2019d likely forgo it in the future to save weight and reduce drag.
