Ticketmaster UK announced this week that concertgoers at the US pop star’s shows will only be permitted to bring clear plastic bags into the venue.

The policy has been confirmed by the ticket distributor to be “mandatory” for admittance to the show.

Each ticketholder will be allowed to carry just one transparent bag made from clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, with no colour tints, prints, patterns or logos.

Fans are encouraged to only bring essential items that must be placed individually within the clear bag, not in additional bags inside the clear one.

Ticketholders are also banned from bringing cameras or recording devices, but phones with built-in cameras are permitted.

Medical, accessibility, and parent or child-care bags are permitted, but will be inspected by security.

Grande employed the same rules for her Sweetener World Tour in 2019, during which she returned to Manchester less than two years after the Manchester Arena terror attack at her concert in May 2017.

Security at the “7 Rings” singer’s shows has been robust ever since the attack, in which 22 people were killed and more than a thousand injured.

Grande is performing one of the biggest UK residencies of the year with 10 shows at the O2 Arena in London, beginning on 15 August and running until 1 September.

She is also preparing to release her new album, Petal, on 31 July, with its lead single, “Hate That I Made You Love Me”, recently becoming her 10th chart-topping single in the US. Her most recent album was 2024’s Eternal Sunshine.

!["Grande]("https://www.newsbeep.com/uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/2202923520...jpeg")
