\n\tMatt Damon<\/a>\u00a0has revealed the wild pitch from \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. <\/p>\n

\n\tDamon, who is set to star in directors\u2019 new sci-fi film<\/a> revealed the details during an appearance on \u201cThe Dan Patrick Show\u201d<\/a> radio show. Damon said, \u201cThe way they pitched it to me was: if \u2018The Breakfast Club\u2019 meets \u2018Inception\u2019 meets an anime film meets an episode of \u2018The John Oliver Show\u2019 that didn\u2019t get aired. So, if you liked \u2018Everything Everywhere All at Once\u2019 and all the wildness and all the heart, I think you\u2019ll really like this one.\u201d He added, \u201cIt\u2019s a really special project.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSandra Oh, Charles Melton, and Michael Gandolfini, PinkPantheress, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, and Thalia Dudek are all set to star in the Universal film. The film\u2019s release date was moved from June 12, 2027 to Nov. 19 of the same year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis film is the first from the Daniels<\/a> since \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d became a critical and commercial smash, earning more than $100 million at the box office and scoring seven Oscars including best picture. \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d starred Michelle Yeoh as a struggling laundromat owner who, while being audited by the IRS, discovers she has to connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent cataclysmic destruction. Daniels, as the duo refers to themselves, made their feature directorial debut with 2016\u2019s \u201cSwiss Army Man,\u201d a fantasy comedy starring Paul Dano alongside Daniel Radcliffe as a flatulent corpse. They rose to prominence by directing the viral music video for Lil Jon\u2019s \u201cTurn Down for What.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tProduction expected to begin in Los Angeles later this year. <\/p>\n

\n\tDamon also mentioned that director and writer Edward Berger has sent him the first act of the Jason Bourne movie<\/a>, which has been in the works since 2023. Damon said, \u201cIt looks really good, and I\u2019m very hopeful that it will happen.\u201d However, Damon added both he and Berger agreed it needed to match the caliber of the first three films in the franchise. He added, \u201cIf we really feel like we\u2019ve got a shot at doing something great, I\u2019m all in. I love that character. It\u2019s been an incredible part of my life.
