\n This alert indicates minor impacts on health and social care services, including increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people, and greater risk to life of vulnerable people.\n<\/p>\n
\n Indoor environments may become very warm, and water-related incidents, including cold-water shock and drowning, may become more common.\n<\/p>\n
\n The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has provided guidance on how different sectors can respond to the alert.\n<\/p>\n
\n This includes summary action cards for commissioners, the voluntary and community sector, care homes and other residential settings, services delivering care to people in their homes, and hospitals and other healthcare settings.\n<\/p>\n
\n For further information on how to respond, the UKHSA recommends reviewing the Weather Health Alert System user guidance and the Adverse Weather and Health Plan on the government website.\n<\/p>\n
\n The Met Office may issue National Severe Weather Warnings at short notice, so you can take appropriate action.\n<\/p>\n
