These can tell you more about your health than what you look like and <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/amir-khan\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">how many wrinkles you have, he said.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In a video uploaded to his Instagram page, Doctor Amir Khan told his followers that he doesn\u2019t care about how young you look. Instead, there are some important science-backed indicators that <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/health\/longevity-experts-five-health-tips-37464192\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">reveal more about your wellbeing as you get older<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Dr Amir, who is best known for his appearances on ITV, said: \u201cEverybody is trying to look younger than their age, but, as a GP, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/lifestyle\/health\/doctor-shares-key-living-longer-36703530\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">I don&#8217;t really care about your wrinkles or what you look like<\/a>. Dr Amir asked: \u201cCan you get off the floor without using your hands?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cIt sounds simple, right? But it takes strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. If you struggle, don&#8217;t see it as a failure. He said: \u201cBut lower is often better provided you&#8217;re well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cMany fit active adults sit around the 50 to 60 beats per minute and endurance athletes can be in their 40s.
