\u00a0Having initially signed on a red-ball only contract with Worcestershire, it has been a busier than\u00a0anticipated\u00a0summer for all-rounder Beyers Swanepoel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Drafted into the Vitality T20 Blast squad in wake of the premature departure of Sikandar Raza, Swanepoel made his List A debut for the Rapids in the side\u2019s opening match of the 2026 Metro Bank One Day Cup\u00a0against Derbyshire on Friday.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The seamer wasted no time in acquainting himself with List A cricket, returning superb figures of 3-15 from his\u00a0excellent\u00a0spell that included taking the new ball.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Enjoying life in 50-over environment, the 28-year-old looks set to play a big part\u00a0in Worcestershire\u2019s title defence across the coming weeks.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Excited by the opportunity to\u00a0run out in the competition on for the first time against the Falcons, Swanepoel was delighted to have made a bright start for his team.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
