This Sunday, Meghan Markle is a guest judge on MasterChef. The Duchess of Sussex filmed the episode during her trip to Australia<\/a>, joining Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin, and Jean-Christophe Novelli for an episode of the cooking show.<\/p>\n

\u201cFood and cooking to me is really a love language,\u201d she said, per Australia\u2019s Network 10<\/a>. \u201cI think it\u2019s such a great way to connect. It\u2019s something that can feel sentimental and meaningful and it\u2019s how I show my nurturing and love for my friends, family, and my kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThere is a lot of pressure in this kitchen. I don\u2019t like to cook that way. I like to cook in a really relaxed fashion, so all I could say to the competitors was to just remember to have fun, to keep a sense of humor about it and to cook from the heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the day on set, Meghan wore Australian brands<\/a>, choosing a black Matteau blouse and a black Camila and Marc skirt, and pairing them with Manolo Blahnik pumps.\u201cI love being able to wear local designers and celebrate the craftsmanship that\u2019s happening in whatever region I\u2019m traveling to,\u201d she told Australian publication The Weekly. <\/a> Meghan shared the fashion credits on OneOff<\/a>, an AI \u201cfashion discovery platform,\u201d which she joined in April as a participant and investor. (As of this writing, she hasn\u2019t updated it since June 9.)<\/p>\n

At the time, T&C understood the Duchess was excited to join OneOff because it made sure the designers she wears are getting proper credit. Meghan, a source noted, \u201ccares about fashion and was motivated to invest not only to expand her portfolio, but to help uplift the fashion designers she is a fan of.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFashion is one of the most powerful industries,\u201d Meghan told The Weekly<\/a>. \u201cIt influences how we feel and what we project. And even if you don\u2019t say a word, you can convey something in what you wear. Over the last several years, I would hear about an incorrect designer getting credit for something I wore, either via affiliate links or press, and that never seemed fair.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cCredit where credit is due. These brands and designers work so hard and take great pride in their work, and I choose them for a reason. Either supporting a friend, being brand loyal\u2026 it\u2019s always been important to me that the correct designer is credited.\u201d Meghan also revealed she styles herself.<\/p>\n

While her blouse is out of stock currently, her skirt and heels are still available online. <\/p>\n

Meghan has kept a low profile in recent weeks; her last Instagram posts celebrated an Emmy nomination for her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan<\/a>, and shared photos from a family vacation to Portugal<\/a>.<\/p>\n
