Carl Froch<\/a> has had a stern warning for a former world heavyweight champion.<\/p>\n

Froch retired from boxing back in 2014 following his knockout victory against George Groves at Wembley Stadium<\/a>, which famously took place in front of 80,000 fans.<\/p>\n

It was a perfect way for \u2018The Cobra\u2019 to draw the curtain on his career, and he has named the man who he feels needs to do the same \u2018before he gets hurt.\u2019<\/p>\n

Deontay Wilder<\/a> is the former long-time WBC heavyweight champion, but in recent years has suffered one-sided defeats against Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang.<\/p>\n

Last time out, Wilder returned with a seventh round stoppage win against the unheralded Tyrell Herndon, but Froch still feels it is time for \u2018The Bronze Bomber\u2019 to hang up his gloves, as he explained on his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWilder, what\u2019s next for him, has he got a career left? He\u2019s lost four of his last six fights, he lost twice to Fury, he then sparked Helenius, but then he lost to Parker and got ironed out by Zhang so after that you kind of think he\u2019s finished, it\u2019s all smoke and mirrors, is he back with that punch?<\/p>\n

They want to see him get in there and throw the big knockout blow. At one point he was 40 fights, 39 wins, 39 knockouts. At one point, everybody he\u2019s beaten, he\u2019s knocked out. He had that draw with Fury, and that trilogy with Fury took it out of him, he\u2019s made a lot of money, it\u2019d be nice now to see him probably hang his gloves up and turn it it.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t like telling people to retire, I like to give my opinion on when these fighters are done. I think Deontay Wilder has had better days and now if he fights anybody with a pulse who can punch, he could be hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n
