\nTrainers, families, and Pok\u00e9mon fans are invited to gather in downtown Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday, Aug.\u00a022, for the second\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon GO Fest, a community event presented by The Brickspace.<\/p>\n
Designed to celebrate one of the world’s most popular mobile games while supporting local businesses and bringing people together, the festival will feature a full day of Pok\u00e9mon-themed activities, challenges, prizes, vendors, and interactive experiences for participants of all ages.<\/p>\n
Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Clergue Park while completing Pok\u00e9mon GO challenges, meeting fellow trainers, visiting local vendors, and competing for prizes. The festival also features exclusive VIP experiences, including VIP-only challenges and special event perks available only to those who purchase VIP tickets before the sales deadline last Friday.<\/p>\n
General Admission tickets will also be available on the day of the event and provide access to the festival giveaways and entry into the event’s gift bag draw.<\/p>\n
“We wanted to create something that brings people together,” said Derek Pearce of The Brickspace.<\/p>\n
“Pok\u00e9mon GO has always been about exploring your community, meeting new people, and having fun. This event combines all of those elements into a fun, family-friendly experience that we hope becomes an annual tradition.”<\/p>\n
In addition to gameplay, attendees can enjoy local vendors, challenges, prize giveaways, and activities designed for both dedicated Pok\u00e9mon GO players and families simply looking for a fun day downtown.<\/p>\n
The Brickspace has spent the past several years creating community-focused events and experiences throughout Sault Ste. Marie. Pok\u00e9mon GO Fest 2026 \u2013 Bricks and Pok\u00e9balls represents the organization’s newest initiative to create exciting, inclusive events that encourage residents and visitors alike to explore the city while supporting local businesses.<\/p>\n
