More than a thousand entrepreneurs and inventors have entered the Dragons\u2019 Den<\/a> over the show\u2019s 21-year history. <\/p>\n Sadly, most of these brave business boffins were roasted alive by the dragons\u2019 fiery scrutiny or torn down by their razor-sharp questioning. <\/p>\n Only a brave few have ever managed to walk away with a portion of the dragon\u2019s wealth. <\/p>\n But few were more courageous than Brendon and Jaydon Manders, who entered the den with an initial investment of just \u00a3100. <\/p>\n The brothers, who were pitching Lumberjaxe \u2013 their single-serve seasoning sachet idea \u2013 were turned down by Peter Jones<\/a>, Deborah Meaden<\/a>, Touker Suleyman<\/a>, Sara Davies<\/a>, Steven Bartlett<\/a>, and all seemed lost. <\/p>\n That is, until guest dragon Emma Grede came to the rescue, offering a \u00a390,000 investment for a 20% stake in the business.<\/p>\n \t\t And it seems as though Emma was right to trust the brothers, as their business is now worth around \u00a3250,000 after securing a major deal with the supermarket chain Asda<\/a>. <\/p>\n Speaking after the episode first aired, Brendon told Metro<\/a>: \u2018It\u2019s been a bit of a whirlwind since, to be honest, it\u2019s been great.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019ve had such a lovely response from everybody, endless messages,\u2019 he went on.<\/p>\n \u2018A lot of people saying they\u2019ve been teary at the show, and it\u2019s been really nice because everyone seems to have enjoyed it. I think it struck a chord with people.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t According to The Grocer<\/a>, Asda initially bought 40,000 seasoning sachets but has since placed several replenishment orders.<\/p>\n This order will reportedly allow Lumberjaxe to grow the business\u2019 turnover by 200 per cent and double the size of their workforce.<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019re genuinely thrilled with how our launch has gone,\u2019 Jaydon said. <\/p>\n \u2018To see Asda place repeat orders so soon after the initial rollout is amazing and shows shoppers are really getting behind the brand.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018Seeing our flavours on shelves nationwide has been a huge milestone for us, and the response so far has honestly been amazing. It\u2019s an exciting start to what we hope will be a long and successful growth within Asda stores.\u2019 <\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019ve always believed there was room and a gap in the category for our brand. American-inspired flavour-led products that stand out on shelf,\u2019 added Brendon.<\/p>\n \u2018Seeing our belief translate into repeat orders from a national retailer is hugely fulfilling.
