\t\t\t\tWho\u2019s in the 2026 AIG Women\u2019s Open field and what did they do to earn a spot at Royal Lytham & St Annes? Here\u2019s the full rundown\u2026<\/p>\n

The 2026 Women\u2019s Open field will feature a mixture of professionals and amateurs from all around the world. The lineup features major champions, leading competitors from the LPGA and LET tours, as well as successful players who have earned their place through both pre-qualifying and final qualifying stages.<\/p>\n

Where will the 2026 AIG Women\u2019s Open be played?<\/p>\n

The 2025 AIG Women\u2019s Open is heading to Lancashire, and taking place at Royal Lytham & St Annes for the fifth time in the tournament\u2019s history, from Thursday July 30 to Sunday August 2.<\/p>\n

Consistently ranked among the finest golf courses in the world<\/a>, Royal Lytham & St Annes has long been regarded as one of the toughest courses in championship golf. More than 200 pot bunkers, demanding approach shots and a layout that punishes even slight mistakes have helped make it one of the most respected courses on the major rota.<\/p>\n

\"RoyalHow do you qualify for the AIG Women\u2019s Open?<\/p>\n

There are number of ways you can earn one of the 144 spots in AIG Women\u2019s Open field.<\/p>\n

The majority of the field will be made up by exemptions dished out to professionals and amateurs\u2013 providing they retain their status up to and during the tournament \u2013 while there is also a series of qualifying events.<\/p>\n

Pre-Qualifying took place on 13th July at Delamere Forest, advancing 18 golfers to Final Qualifying.<\/p>\n

Final Qualifying for the 2026 AIG Women\u2019s Open was held at St Annes Old Links, on Monday July 27. After a playoff, 13 golfers secured spots in the championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes.<\/p>\n

AIG Women\u2019s Open qualification categories<\/p>\n

Past Champions of the Championship, aged 60 or under on 2 August 2026 (for all Champions up until 2024).<\/p>\n

Past Champions of the Championship, aged 55 or under on 2 August 2026 (for all Champions from 2025).<\/p>\n

Major Champions from 2022 to 2025 (winners of the Chevron Championship, US Women\u2019s Open, KPMG Women\u2019s PGA Championship and Amundi Evian Championship).<\/p>\n

The top 10 and anyone tying for 10th place in the 2025 AIG Women\u2019s Open.<\/p>\n

Any player who did not compete in the 2025 AIG Women\u2019s Open due to maternity.<\/p>\n
