The faultless start to the 2026 Metro Bank One Day Cup has ensured Worcestershire Rapids have underlined their credentials as title challengers once again. Still, tournament Captain Jake Libby is demanding more from the reigning Champions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
A nervy win over Derbyshire in the opening round was followed up by a near-miss against Hampshire, where a dramatic affair went down to the final over of the match, where the hosts held on to scrape a four-run win.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, as the old saying goes, the scorebook does not provide photos, and the table reflects what is\u00a0ultimately an\u00a0unscathed start, with Worcestershire two wins from two currently sitting fourth in Group B.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Having played a game less than a handful of their opponents in the group, the onus is on the visitors to\u00a0maintain\u00a0their impressive start and keep the pressure on the sides around them.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Libby said his bowling attack, who were under fire against Hampshire, have more than enough variety to keep him happy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
