Abbas\u00a0was\u00a0penalised\u00a0for celebrating in an animated manner near dismissed batter Jomel\u00a0Warrican, the final wicket of the innings.<\/p>\n
Both players\u00a0admitted their\u00a0offences and accepted the sanctions proposed by\u00a0Jeff Crowe\u00a0of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, so there was no need for formal hearings.<\/p>\n
On-field umpires\u00a0Alex Wharf and Richard Kettleborough and third umpire Jayaraman\u00a0Madanagopal levelled the charges.<\/p>\n
Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player\u2019s match fee, and one or two demerit points.\u00a0<\/p>\n
