Having faced both former two-time world champions, Dillian Whyte<\/a> has offered a fresh assessment of Tyson Fury<\/a> and Anthony Joshua<\/a>\u2019s expected showdown.<\/p>\n

The two British heavyweights came through their respective warm-up fights over the weekend, albeit with varying degrees of difficulty against Mariusz Wach and Kristian Prenga.<\/p>\n

While hardly turning in a vintage performance, Fury nonetheless encountered minimal jeopardy as he stopped the 46-year-old Wach in seven rounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Joshua, however, was made to survive two knockdowns against Prenga<\/a> who, despite boasting a 100% knockout-to-win ratio, was considered a relatively low-risk opponent prior to their contest.<\/p>\n

It therefore came as a surprise when he floored \u2018AJ\u2019 with a right uppercut within the first 20 seconds, before scoring yet another knockdown later in the round.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Joshua managed to get his man out of there in round two but, sure enough, it was far from the type of performance he had anticipated.<\/p>\n

Speaking with IFL TV<\/a>, Whyte offered a prediction, of sorts, after having previously been stopped by Joshua and Fury in 2015 and 2022, respectively.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s either AJ by knockout or Fury by points. AJ\u2019s not gonna outpoint Fury. If Tyson can keep it busy and [jab] for 12 rounds, he wins on points.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his prediction of a points victory, Whyte did admit that Fury could also win by stoppage, effectively giving \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 a greater chance than Joshua.<\/p>\n
