EsDeeKid has announced a huge new tour that will see him put on shows across America and Europe. The anonymous, balaclava-wearing Scouse rapper from Liverpool who broke out with viral underground hits like “LV Sandals” and his debut mixtape Rebel, earning a Brit Award nomination, will start his Council House Rat tour in September, before bringing it back home to Liverpool later in the year.<\/p>\n
He is set to kick off<\/a> the tour on September 12 at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina, before the 48-date tour<\/a> moves across the United States and then ventures to Europe.<\/p>\n Closing the tour, EsDeeKid<\/a> will play back to back nights at Liverpool<\/a>\u2019s Blackstone Street Warehouse on December 10 and 11.<\/p>\n Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Blackstone Warehouse said: “From a council house in Liverpool to 50 dates across America and Europe, the Council House Rat Tour marks the next chapter for @esdeekid.<\/p>\n “What started close to home has grown into something much bigger, while still carrying the same sound, character and energy that made people take notice from the start.”<\/p>\n Tickets go on general sale this Friday (July 31) at 10am.<\/p>\n The mystery behind the rapper’s identity has only added to his fame, as EsDeeKid’s songs have been a huge success with Phantom, featuring Rico Ace, and 4 Raws wracking up millions of listens. At one point, fans believed EsDeeKid was Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, with the actor feeding into the hype.<\/p>\n He previously sent fans into a frenzy as he addressed the rumours after being heavily linked to being behind the balaclava of the mystery musician. The ECHO previously reported how fans were convinced Timoth\u00e9e<\/a> was the rapper as the close up on his eyes bears a striking resemblance to the Dune star.<\/p>\n The actor previously appeared on Heart Radio ahead of the release of his new film, Marty Supreme, when he was quizzed on the viral rapper.<\/a> The 29-year-old is a hip-hop lover and used to rap under the name of Lil Timmy Tim.<\/p>\n He confirmed he was aware of EsDeeKid’s work as Amanda Holden<\/a> and Jamie Theakston asked him if he is indeed the Liverpudlian artist.<\/p>\n Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda said: “Your fans have lost their minds and they are saying that you are EsDeeKid?” The A Complete Unknown star fuelled the rumours as he refused to deny he is the mystery Scouser.<\/p>\n He said: “I\u2019ve got no comment on that.” Timoth\u00e9e followed it up as he said: “I got two words on that…” However, it was more than two words as he said people need to wait and see, as he added: “All will be revealed in due time.”<\/p>\n The post of their conversation was liked thousands of times, including by Scouse superstar actor, Jodie Comer<\/a>.
