And this year in Andorra, they won their first-ever international sevens game versus Greece, and teams that had previously beaten them by 30-50 points, they were a score within winning the game.

“I am extremely proud of what we have achieved in Estonia.”

Now 66, Smith is still keen to continue coaching, if the right position comes along.

“I’ve had a few clubs contact me, and I have got a couple of things in my diary.

“There’s been a few roles recently which I looked at and I didn’t take because I didn’t think the time was right, and I am not shy to admit it, I would like to have a go at a higher level, maybe in the Women’s Premiership.”

[35
5903,101,56,54,55
post-718633","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-rugby","tag-rugby","tag-sports","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
