If you\u2019re interested in PS Plus Essential<\/a> game Dying Light 2<\/a>, but not sure if you can be arsed with another open world grind \u2013 well, there\u2019s good news, courtesy of dev Techland.<\/p>\n

The Polish studio is plotting patch v1.29 on 3rd August, a day before the game\u2019s addition to PS Plus Essential<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And interestingly, this will \u201csignificantly accelerate\u201d progress across the game\u2019s opening ten hours, helping you to get to the good stuff faster.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what the press release says:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe early progression has been significantly accelerated. Players unlock skills and level up almost twice as fast during the first ten hours of gameplay. Core abilities such as Dropkick, Heavy Attack, and Slide become available much earlier, allowing players to experience the full parkour and combat system sooner.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the blurb notes, this is all about unlocking the full scope of the game quicker, so there\u2019s less grinding overall. It\u2019s an interesting tweak, especially as the game is expected to get an influx of players alongside its PS Plus Essential inclusion.<\/p>\n
