September is the apocalypse for new console releases, with games like Marvel\u2019s Wolverine<\/a> and The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/a> all vying for your attention.<\/p>\n

If you were hoping Control Resonant would be a breezy campaign you could beat in around 10 hours like its predecessor, then \u2013 well, think again.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Tech Radar<\/a>, lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov confirmed the core experience of the upcoming campaign will take around 30 hours to beat. Completionists can expect to be kept occupied for closer to the 50 hour mark.<\/p>\n

Obviously this is a huge increase on the original Control<\/a>, which was quite a breezy campaign. But based on what we\u2019ve played so far, it\u2019s not a bad thing: in our hands-on preview earlier in the year<\/a> we came away thoroughly impressed with what Remedy\u2019s been building.<\/p>\n

But it does mean you may have to rethink some of your September gaming: remember, Control: Resonant is due out on the same day as Silent Hill: Townfall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With so many PS5 games planned for this holiday, you\u2019re really going to have to pick which titles you\u2019re going to pick up carefully.<\/p>\n
