{"id":719668,"date":"2026-07-30T20:04:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T20:04:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/719668\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T20:04:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T20:04:10","slug":"savant-gets-stake-from-hamilton-lane-cynosure-stays-invested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/719668\/","title":{"rendered":"Savant Gets Stake From Hamilton Lane, Cynosure Stays Invested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Savant Wealth Management has secured a $270 million minority stake from Hamilton Lane, which will allow current minority holder Cynosure Partners to offer a liquidity option to its original partners about 10 years after the initial investment, the firms announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">The move by Westford, Mass.-based Cynosure to secure funding allows it to remain invested in <a class=\"ContentText-BodyTextChunk ContentText-BodyTextChunk_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/ria-news\/deals-moves-savant-wealth-plants-flag-in-maine-cerity-expands-to-oregon\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rockford, Ill.-based Savant<\/a>, which has grown to over $57 billion in client assets, through a continuation vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Another early investor, Kelso &amp; Company, will also remain as a minority investor, while Savant employees will remain the largest shareholder group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cTen years marked the right time for us to allow our original investors to take liquidity in what has been a great partnership with the entire Savant organization,\u201d Keith Taylor, co-founder and managing director at Cynosure, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Conshohocken, Penn.-based Hamilton Lane was the only investor in the continuation vehicle for Cynosure.<\/p>\n<p data-component=\"related-article\" class=\"RelatedArticle\">Related:<a class=\"RelatedArticle-RelatedContent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/ria-news\/rbc-wealth-management-attracts-1-5-billion-team-in-south-florida\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">RBC Snags $1.5B South Florida-based UBS Team<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cSavant is a high-quality business with a strong management team operating in an attractive segment of the wealth management market that continues to benefit from powerful secular tailwinds,\u201d Keith Brittain, co-head of secondary investments at Hamilton Lane, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Brent Brodeski, founder and chief executive officer of Savant, noted that the firm is over 25 times larger today than it was when Cynosure invested 10 years ago. In March, the RIA <a class=\"ContentText-BodyTextChunk ContentText-BodyTextChunk_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/ria-news\/-3-9b-mass-based-ria-heritage-goes-with-ria-savant-wealth\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">made its largest acquisition<\/a> to date with a Massachusetts-based wealth manager with $3.9 billion in assets under management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cIt is difficult to find private investors that are truly long-term oriented and supportive of employee-owned organizations,\u201d Brodeski said in a statement. \u201cWe believe we are still in the early innings. We appreciate the vote of confidence in our future that this transaction signifies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Campbell Lutyens served as the financial advisor to Cynosure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Cynosure is also a <a class=\"ContentText-BodyTextChunk ContentText-BodyTextChunk_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wealthmanagement.com\/ria-news\/steward-partners-lands-475-million-stake-from-ares\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">minority investor in RIA Steward Partners<\/a>, an employee-owned partnership of independent advisory firms with nearly $50 billion in client assets.
