\n Raye began her set on the main stage just after 9pm, performing a range of her most-loved tracks.\n<\/p>\n
\n The stage was laid out similarly to what has been seen at her other shows, featuring an orchestra and backing singers.\n<\/p>\n
\n She kicked the 90 min set off with a powerful performance of Escapism, followed by Worth It and a track from her latest album, Beware\u2026The South London Loverboy.\n<\/p>\n
\n During the performance, Raye took time to interact with the crowd, picking out her favourite banners, outfits and speaking with fans.\n<\/p>\n
\n Following the high-energy start, Raye went on to play some slower tracks, which was arguably not to everyone in the crowd\u2019s taste, as I heard the people around me suggest heading to the dance tent for \u201csomething more upbeat\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n In this section of the show, Raye also paid tribute to Prince, performing a rendition of Purple Rain – the entire stage flooded in purple lights.\n<\/p>\n
\n The tail-end of her performance is when the park really came alive.\n<\/p>\n
\n A sign on stage which had previously read Raye was replaced with a V to become Rave, as laser lights and smoke filled the park.\n<\/p>\n
\n To round off an incredible first day and her headline performance, Raye sang what everyone had been waiting for \u2013 Where is your Husband?\n<\/p>\n
\n The entire set showed off Raye\u2019s incredible vocals with the staging and lighting a perfect backdrop to this.\n<\/p>\n
