Recorded with his band The Breakers, the six-track project was produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, whose credits include work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.udiscovermusic.com\/genre\/kim-gordon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kim Gordon<\/a>, Joji, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.udiscovermusic.com\/genre\/Charli-XCX\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charli XCX<\/a>. The release comes ahead of Beckham\u2019s first U.S. tour and scheduled appearances at Reading &amp; Leeds, Rock N Roll Circus, and Lollapalooza this summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing Red\u201d is built around prominent guitar riffs and a forceful vocal, while its lyrics turn a brief moment of sporting frustration into a song about competitiveness. \u201cSeeing red is a comedic take on a totally unserious moment of frustration, in this case in sports,\u201d Beckham said. \u201cEveryone\u2019s competitive nature likes to take over now and then, but it\u2019s all fun and games. Seeing red is a nod to that exact turning point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the title track of the upcoming EP, \u201cWear &amp; Tear,\u201d bright guitar strums give way to psychedelic-edged riffs. Its lyrics place direct experience and personal connection at the center of the EP. \u201cWear &amp; Tear is synonymous to a life lived and all your life experiences so far \u2014 the good and the bad, the learning curves, and everything in between,\u201d Beckham said. \u201cNo matter how different every human experience is, we all have had at least a few similar emotions that make us all human. We\u2019ve been high, and low, in love and in pain, jealous, upset \u2014 we\u2019ve lived and learned. We\u2019ve all got our wear and tear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in 2026, Beckham released his debut single \u201cOptics\u201d alongside \u201cLick The Toad.\u201d He followed with \u201cFor Your Love,\u201d the song Beckham, Raisen, and Pesacov identified as the studio breakthrough that set the direction for his subsequent recordings.
