Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a deal that would see goalkeeper Altay Bayindir leave the club\"Altay<\/p>\n

Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir appears to be closing in on a move away from Old Trafford<\/a> this summer. La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have been listed as the club that are expected to sign the Turkey international before the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

Bayindir signed for United<\/a> in the summer of 2023 during Erik ten Hag\u2019s <\/a>tenure as manager, and the shot-stopper has gone on to feature just 17 times in his three years with the club.<\/p>\n

United <\/a>had Andre Onana<\/a> as their number one goalkeeper for Bayindir\u2019s first two years at the club, before Senne Lammens\u2019 arrival last summer saw a new first-choice shot-stopper emerge at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bayindir\u2019s future at United has been the subject of uncertainty for some time, particularly after the club signed Karl Darlow as a free agent earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

It has now been reported by Metropolitano<\/a> that Celta Vigo are on the verge of signing Bayindir on a loan deal from United, with the move almost completely finalised.<\/p>\n

The report also claims that the La Liga outfit are hopeful of announcing the deal to sign Bayindir next week, with the goalkeeper expected to link up with his new teammates at a training camp in Italy.<\/p>\n

A separate report in Spanish news outlet AS<\/a> has claimed that the 28-year-old will be expected to undergo a medical to become a Celta Vigo player on either Sunday or Monday.<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News<\/a> reported on Saturday that Celta Vigo are leading the race to sign Bayindir, with the goalkeeper looking set likely to leave the club in the days ahead.<\/p>\n

Despite the interest in Bayindir\u2019s signature, United still included the Turkey international in the squad for their pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid in Sweden on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Bryan Mbeumo scored two goals as United claimed a 2-1 victory over the Spanish club<\/a> in Stockholm on Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if and when Bayindir could leave United, with all the signs pointing towards the goalkeeper\u2019s time at the club coming to an end, albeit on a loan basis.<\/p>\n
