\n “I asked myself ‘how can I make a project to celebrate the camera, the very tool that has changed my life’ and ‘what could I photograph as a metaphor to describe the camera’s ability to break down barriers and connect people with other people’?\n<\/p>\n
\n “The answer lay in the 34 vintage Photoautomat machines of Berlin.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I had been visiting Berlin with my students to photograph architecture for years and I loved the experience of using these booths to bring a memento of my trip back home.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I believe photographic projects exist deep within the subconscious and in simple things that the photographer notices and is drawn to, often without knowing why.”\n<\/p>\n
