Leicestershire Foxes all-rounder Ruan de Swardt has returned home to South Africa after suffering an injury against Notts Outlaws in the One-Day Cup.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old sustained an injury in his quadriceps while bowling and was forced to leave the field of play during the match.<\/p>\n

De Swardt could only get through two overs as the Foxes went down to a five-wicket defeat<\/a> at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Just two days prior, De Swardt struck 126 against Lancashire at Grace Road in a 21-run defeat.<\/a><\/p>\n

That impressive knock helped convince Leicestershire to extend his stay<\/a> at the club for the rest of their One-Day Cup campaign.<\/p>\n
